I've Found my Home, J.C.

Ephesians 2:19 says “So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Today, I've found my home that I would never run away. When I look back, I realize it's God's blessing and mercy for choosing me to be a member of God's house, so that I can enjoy His abundance of grace in the Body of Christ, the church. (Romans 5:17; Ephesians 1:22-23)

As a foreign student alone first came to a foreign country far away from my hometown, the love from the believers in the local church really warmed my heart. They took me shopping, invited me for meals, and even prepared lunch for me when we met on campus. How I was touched and appreciated their love from the Lord Jesus Christ when one sister in the local church handed me a hot, homemade, real Chinese dumpling lunch box! What brought me to the local church was the sweet fragrance of the humanity of Jesus which was expressed through the believers here (2 Corinthians 2:15). Deepest in my heart I knew, although I was thousands of miles away from my hometown, I had found a real home, where there is no difference between race, gender, maturity, or social rank. We all are one and share His love in Christ Jesus.(John 17:23)
